Decorative Tissue Box Holder - Optional Aqara Motion Sensor Housing
prusaprinters

I got tired of having my aqara motion sensors for my smart home sitting out on counters and getting knocked out of position or just plain looking ugly. So I decided to incorporate it into a tissue box holder to help make it blend in better.

The box has removable panels to give the ability to easily get a different look. I have made a couple of options for panels, but there is also a blank panel model for you to make your own panel. I also have a version of the tissue box holder without the extra height needed for the motion sensor. This is meant to fit the smaller square tissue boxes measuring ~4.6"x4.6"x5.1"

For a complete assembly you need to print:

1 tissue box base

4 inserts

1 lid (optional obviously)

To get best results on the motion sensor tissue box base, I recommend you print the lower section where the sensor goes at 0.20mm layer height or less to help keep the overhang looking nice. After that I typically use variable layer height and start printing at 0.30mm to help lower the print time.

Motion Sensor: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07D1CRRVF/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1

*This may fit the newer P1 sensor but I have no idea as I don't have any.
