My mom is crazy about sea turtles, and as soon as I saw LouiseSR71's design, I knew I had to turn it into something special for her. So, I created this simple two-drawer tea bag holder and she absolutely loves it. To give it an extra touch, I added a post-print flourish by painting the shells of the turtles with some shiny nail polish that matched the PLA color perfectly - it looks like they have naturally glossy shells now. Printing it facing up is the key to avoid supports altogether. You can put anything you want in it, but I designed it specifically for tea bags, so the drawers sit low on the shelf. My mom already wants another one with higher drawers, so I'll probably make that for her too - guess I'm making two!
