2019FEB23 I took a shot at printing it in black PLA at .175 layer height. That move resulted in some loss of finer detail, but I have to admit that I'm kind of digging the rough look (which is why I only sanded it slightly). The color is brass bitumen paste. 2019FEB22 This decorative steampunk style biohazard gear is purely for show. Its connectors are laughably too thin to actually make it functional, but I might revisit the design later to give it a chance at being useful as well. I haven't printed it myself yet, but I'll be tweaking settings and parameters when I get around to it (hopefully this weekend). If you beat me to printing it, your guess is as good as mine on how well it will turn out.
