Decorative Magnetic Cuffs
thingiverse
Just in time for Halloween, or any other time you want these for a costume. These decorative cuffs are held closed by magnets. They can be connected together with the chain from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2614200, which I listed as a remix; a link is shown in the picture as an example. Three sizes are provided: 50x60mm, 60x80mm, and 70x90mm. If there's interest in other sizes I can add them relatively simply. Parts required: Each cuff requires an M3x20mm socket head cap screw and an M3 hex nut. Each cuff also requires 4 6x3mm magnets, and glue to fasten the magnets into place. Construction: Supports are recommended for both halves. PVA or similar should work well if it's an option; otherwise, you'll need to be careful cleaning out the recessed holder for the nut on the bottom of the inner cuff. When assembling, make sure you get the magnets aligned properly. I recommend dry-fitting the magnets in before gluing, to make sure the socket is cleaned out. These were printed with Proto-pasta black matte PLA. Printed on a FlashForge Creator 3 (which isn't available in the dropdowns). ETA: 70x90mm added by request.
