Decorative LED Votive Lantern

For the last few Christmases, I've attempted to craft my own gifts for family and friends. This year, I created laser-cut tealight holders that turned out to be a huge hit with everyone. After experimenting with several designs, I finally settled on a beautiful snowflake pattern. Initially, I had envisioned making each screen as one piece with living hinges, allowing it to flat pack and requiring recipients to assemble the piece themselves. However, this proved to be a bit more challenging than anticipated, so I decided to take it easy (and spare my friends from potential frustration!) by pre-assembling the lights instead. This way, I could ship the compact battery-powered light with the intricately designed fixture, making it easy for everyone to use and enjoy. The result was well worth the effort: beautiful, functional tealight holders that added a warm touch to any room. I used 3mm birch plywood to craft these lovely lanterns.
