Decorative Lack Enclosure Door Rails
prusaprinters

Did you make that famous Lack enclosure for your printer? Did you run down to the hardware store to pick up the plexiglass only to realize you'd have to cut it yourself and when you did, it came out pretty bad?

Worry not! I have the solution here! Decorative rails, so you can cover up your really bad cuts AND give your enclosure a sense of STYLE!

Just print it out thick side on the bed, and it goes on your plexiglass with friction! Quick and easy print to hide your long and arduous cutting mistakes! NOTE - as designed, these are designed for 2mm thick plexiglass common in US hardware stores, NOT the 3mm one in the Lack enclosure instructions.

I've included several files. the standard lack rails will get you what you see in the photos - rail segments for the door that go right down the middle. Each door requires 2, print a total of 4 for your printer. Intended to fit on a standard Prusa MK2/MK3 bed.

Don't want that or want to modify it? No problem, I have two solutions for you. I've included a 10mm version, so you can scale it as you need right in your slicer of choice. Want something more intricate? I've also included a step file for your modification needs.

Have fun!
