Decorative Faraday Cage Frame
thingiverse
This is a sleek and stylish Faraday Cage frame that lets your creativity shine through. Print and paint it to perfection, or give its design a bold makeover to make it uniquely yours. To make this cage EMP-proof, line the inside with two layers of aluminum foil, including the top of the lid. Protect your electronics from the foil by adding a thin layer of styrofoam above it. You can even use scraps of styrofoam from take-out boxes to save space and get the job done. Once everything is properly lined up, do the "phone test" to ensure it's working as expected. Simply place your phone in the box with the lid attached, then call it. If it rings, you know it won't block an EMP. But if it doesn't ring, congratulations - you're good to go! Cell phone frequencies are similar to those of EMP frequencies, so this test is a reliable way to check if your Faraday Cage is doing its job.
