20190221: Tweaked hinges even further for effortless assembly. Also fine-tuned shells some more for better results. This is a minor update of mrule's Decorative Elements. I significantly reduced the hinge pins to make assembly incredibly easy, refined the bottom ribs to be even thinner, and resolved a rotation glitch that caused the bottom ribs to become slightly skewed. Additionally, I hollowed out the center of the bottom ribs to allow more light to pass through. element6.stl and element5.stl are tailored to my preferences for use in crafting a stunning hanging lamp. The original designs (with my fix) remain accessible by tweaking the main program in the assign() block at the bottom of the OpenSCAD code. For use as a lamp, print in natural ABS with only 1 wall and 25% infill to maximize light transmission.
