After creating my Celtic roundel stencil on Thingiverse (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:311456), I decided to try making something that looks more intricately carved by hand. This is my attempt printed in Laywood, using a larger-than-usual scale and clever layout. Divided into perfectly symmetrical quadrants, this design allows it to be easily assembled from separate sections or used as individual decorative corner pieces. Printer Settings: Printer Brand: RepRap Printer Model: Prusa Mendel i2 The key to getting an exquisite print was using my trusty 0.35mm nozzle and setting the minimum resolution required. Additionally, printing at a boosted 150% size added a touch of drama to this intricate Celtic design. I've also created a companion piece featuring robust supports that keep the print from curling upwards during printing – the perfect combination for those seeking an exceptionally polished finish!
