One of our kung fu instructors at the studio where I train gives out ornaments each year. Recently, we had a seminar about the twin gim, a Chinese straight sword, and she wanted to give out ornaments in that shape. Enter the 3D printer! I created a model in Blender and made some for her; then I thought I'd share it with you too! I printed it without supports but used the split gim model and glued the two halves together. I included the whole gim as well, so anyone can use it or print it at a different orientation if they want to. Big thanks to my instructor for the amazing painting and fabric enhancements. As always, the .blend file for this model is available to my patrons; here's a link to the post about this model: https://www.patreon.com/posts/23177298
