Decorating Spheres

Decorating Spheres

thingiverse

This set of OpenSCAD programs enables you to decorate a sphere with various shapes, such as tetrahedron, cube, octahedron, dodecahedron, and icosahedron, derived from Platonic solids. Additionally, a cylinder and a cube are included for container purposes. The coordinates for these decorations were sourced from thing:30421 and the 60-atom Bucky Ball. Along with this, six output files such as tetrahedron_on_sphere.stl to bucky_ball_on_sphere.stl are provided. The programs used for these can be found in Decorative_Spheres_Scad.zip, and all the spheres have a flat side for easy printing without support.
