Decorated Paper Weights
thingiverse
Here are three paperweights which share the same fundamental form. One is adorned with public art from Carlsbad, California; another features pentagrams and hexagrams; and the third remains unadorned. The plain version boasts three "windows" which can accept photographs or small items. OpenSCAD code is included for reproduction purposes. After Printing These weights possess a hole in the base for filling with a chosen material. A base with a plug can be secured to the weight's bottom once filled, creating a stable foundation. Zinc pennies prove to be one of the least expensive fillers, allowing the weights to hold nearly a pound of coins. The base also functions as a template for cutting photographs to match the openings in the undecorated paperweight.
