Deco Light Switch with Fan Remote Holder
thingiverse
We reside in a pre-war NYC apartment, surrounded by an abundance of deco touches throughout the building. The existing light switch covers were utterly unremarkable, while the wireless fan remote lacked a designated home. To address these shortcomings, I opted to print custom replacements using ProtoPlastics Stainless Steel filament. Following the printing process, I meticulously sanded and polished the new components with buffing compound, taking care to achieve a high-gloss finish. Alas, my enthusiasm for the sanding process proved slightly excessive, resulting in subtly rounded corners on each cover.
