I was eager to upload this model as soon as possible, but I needed to locate a specific file containing the .pdf of the decals I designed for it first. Unfortunately, I still haven't found that file, but if I do happen to discover it in the future, I'll make sure to upload it right away! I was also hesitant to share the model because my ROBO-3D printer struggles with overlapping volumes - the printed gaps look like air pockets. This model is particularly problematic due to its many overlapping sections, especially in the nose area. After experimenting with different settings, I couldn't find a way to overcome this issue using the printer software. Perhaps I'm at fault for not being able to eliminate volume overlaps in the "Wings3D" program I used to create the model. If anyone has advice on how to resolve this problem, I'd greatly appreciate it! Personally, I've found that Marine-Tex, a resin boat plastic product, is incredibly useful for filling gaps and creating a seamless finish. It's also great for filling gaps in other resin cast models. I now print exclusively with ABS because the Plastruct Plastic Weld glue I use works exceptionally well with it, while producing unsatisfactory results with PLA. I haven't tried any other glues yet... For those who want to see what the completed model looks like, I've included an .stl file for reference purposes only. However, I strongly advise against attempting to print this version - instead, print the individual parts and assemble them according to your preference. Additionally, I could have included an assembly sheet, but I believe it's fairly obvious how the pieces fit together based on the completed model picture. The finished product turned out amazingly well, and I'm extremely pleased with its appearance! I designed this model at a 1:350 scale to complement my Polar Lights Enterprise model. Enjoy building it!
