Decking Plank Spacer

These spacers serve the same purpose as those little plastic spacers used to maintain uniform spacing when tiling walls in kitchens or bathrooms, except they're designed specifically for decking planks. With the varying widths and curvatures of wood decking, I found it challenging to achieve the perfect spacing on a deck project. To overcome this issue, I printed about fifty of these spacers at once, which helped maintain a consistent and visually appealing gap between the decking planks. These spacers are designed with a specific tongue width, measured as 0.15 inches (3.8mm), when oriented as shown in the images. If you need to adjust this spacing for your project, simply scale the design along its length to achieve the desired gap size, such as scaling it up by 167% to create a 0.25-inch deck spacing.
