A typical deck of cards comes in a rather unappealing plastic case that can shatter easily under any significant pressure. To rectify this issue, I created this straightforward box and crafted it from a single block of beech wood. Without access to a planer, I opted for beech plywood for the lid. To carve out material of this type, I employed a 6 mm router end mill. With a moderate step-down of 3 mm and a feed rate of 2400 mm/min, this operation is accomplished relatively swiftly. The other cuts were made using a 4 mm single-flute end mill with essentially the same settings. A small amount of mineral oil enhances the wood color and safeguards the box against moisture. I haven't attempted to print the STL files but would welcome feedback if they function as expected. For more captivating designs, please visit https://www.zenziwerken.de/en/.
