While several excellent deck holders exist, they didn't work out so well when cards slipped over them. I also wanted to practice using Fusion 360, so I designed this one myself. Considering it's my third design, I'm pleased with how it turned out. I still have a lot to learn, so I welcome suggestions for improvement. Note that I'm using the Robo R1 +, which doesn't offer some options yet. Update: I've uploaded three versions of the card holder. Version one is my original design, which takes more time and filament than the other two but prints nicely. It should require no supports at all. Version 2 has thinned-out sides to reduce printing time and filament usage, offering a minor improvement over version 1. No supports are needed, though the side parts might wobble during printing. Version 3 is the most efficient in terms of filament and time but may print best with some supports. I've included a Fusion 3D export file; if you need another format, just let me know. I'd appreciate input on which design works the best for you. Thank you, and have a great day. Print Settings: Printer Brand: Robo 3D Printer: R1 ABS + PLA Model Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: .3 Infill: 100 Notes: I printed the first version using fast settings to see if it would really require no supports. It worked perfectly fine. My second attempt, printing with medium settings, didn't show a significant improvement in quality. To optimize the design for less filament usage, changing infill levels won't save much time or filament. I took about 3 hours with fast settings. The print quality isn't amazing, but it's not bad either. I'll try to find ways to reduce printing time further. Just a side note: I print it with the back end facing up. Since I'm still getting used to Fusion alignment, my models are placed oddly. Feel free to ask me for clarification if needed.
