Thingiverse
This piece represents an idea to protect any vulnerable point on a cable. In my specific case, I spliced and soldered a replacement USB-C connector to a USB cable; even though I folded the cable and taped in a way where there is no force on the soldered joints when the cable is pulled, I wasn't comfortable in a weak spot of the cable that is exposed especially during movement / use. So I designed a means to have an additional hard protective cover to go over the vulnerable section.
