To enhance my mesh, I applied Meshlab's quadratic decimating filter, reducing the initial 12k triangles to various levels - 2000, 1200, 800, 500, 300, 12, and finally 100 triangles. I'm particularly thrilled with the latter, as it offers a more manageable model.
