Decathlon 920 Cadence sensor wheel
thingiverse
The Decathlon ebike I have is a 920e, it has a cadence sensor on the pedals that detects when you are pedalling so that the bike knows when to apply assistance power. The cadence sensor consists of a small hexagonal ring that grips the pedal axle and houses 6 2mm magnets, all arranged in the same polarity (I didn't figure out which way round it is, but it is important that it is the same as the original or it will only apply power when pedalling backwards!). This lives inside a unit with a plate that is secured by 3 screws and has sticky foam keeping it together. You can undo the screws and prise apart the foam to get to the magnet ring. On my bike the ring had split, which meant the power kept cutting out as it was slipping and not turning with the pedals. This object replaces that ring.
