We just acquired these versatile drinking glasses and took the initiative to improve their stability by printing a custom holder. Our goal was to prevent 21 ounce fluid spills on ourselves or our desks - yes, this unfortunate incident has happened before! Besides saving valuable desk space, the design makes it easy to clean and maintain our work environment. However, we observed that the included STL is slightly undersized, which caused the glass not to slide into the holder as smoothly as desired. Still, the printed model holds steady despite its shortcomings. To enhance the performance of this device, I might revisit my designs by expanding the dimensions by 2-4% in the future, making it more accommodating for larger glasses.
