Deburring Tool
thingiverse
Get your hands on a 1/2-inch square lathe tool blank and give one end a gentle curve with a slight rake, then stone the bottom flat as needed. Now you've got the ideal tool for deburring jagged edges left by drill bits along flat surfaces. These tools have been around for at least four decades but lack only one thing - a handle. Simply press the tool blank into this holder and secure it firmly with two M4 set screws. Next, push a length of 1/4-inch diameter drill rod through the hole in the back until it's snug against the tool blank. If you need to deburr tough chips, just give the back of the drill rod a few taps with a small hammer while holding the tool blank flat, and voila! You'll have a clean hole in no time. This handy tool is particularly useful for holes that are too small to clean up with a Rout-a-Burr.
