Cosplayers of ruthless mercenary Deathstroke from the DC Comics universe get a detailed scan with Artec Eva. The black plastic components proved challenging to scan due to their shiny surface, so sensitivity was maximized throughout the scanning process. This approach extended the scanning duration but allowed us to capture even the most demanding surface details that would have required anti-glare coatings on other scanners. Meanwhile, the sword moved during the scan and was thus captured as a separate object before being aligned with the handle in the final model. The fit was seamless.
