Deathstar Extruder Spinner
pinshape
Summary Assembling my 101Hero printer, I made a key modification to switch to a Bowden extruder. When I spotted a Batman spinner that sits atop the NEMA17 axle, I knew I wanted to create iconic derivatives. Early in May, what better option than a Death Star spinner? I've included a half-size version of muckychris's Star Wars Display Stand so when not in use, you can still gaze at the Galactic Empire's might. This derived work comes from hendo420 and muckychris. Thanks to both for their contributions. deathstar_assembled1.stl was created for the preview picture. The stand ended up embedded in the Death Star, so it won't function as a spinner unless you have a long enough shaft that clears the extruder entirely. deathstar_assembled2.stl should print with only build plate supports, but I'm uncertain if either assembled model will unscrew easily. The spinner is offset from the stand, which should free it from any supports.
