Deathstar baby night light
myminifactory
I designed this special night light for my newborn daughter. It's made using OpenSCAD and incorporates part of a commercial plug and a diode bridge to power three LEDs from an LED strip. The plug is a Simon CL403014 that can be easily purchased online; I've even adapted it for use with a Chinese plug, utilizing the same design for the inner components. You can find examples of this type of plug at Bricor.es/bricor/clavija-10a-250v-blanco-simon-brico-000303000996. The power source is directly connected to 220V using a diode bridge DF08, and if you need help with the schematics, I can provide them. I hope this project inspires others to create their own unique night lights. In fact, I'm already planning on creating a smaller version of this light in the near future. So go ahead, print it out, enjoy the process, share your creations with others, and spread some kindness!
