Deathly Hallows 3D v2 - Parametric

thingiverse

Ever wonder what the Deathly Hallows from the Harry Potter movies would look like in 3D? Here is my second interpretation of the original 2D necklace worn by Xenophilius Lovegood in the movie "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows". See https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2222907 for version one. Why another version? I was proudly showing version one to a friend when she pointed out it doesn't really represent the Deathly Hallows, specifically, the Cloak of Invisibility. She stated the spire worked well for the Elder Wand and the sphere was a good representation of the Resurrection Stone but the pyramid wasn't, in her opinion, a fair representation of the Cloak of Invisibility. I was slightly taken aback and pointed out version one looked like the original necklace when viewed from either of the four sides. However, she remained unconvinced. So here is version two. A more accurate 3D representation of the Deathly Hallows. The OpenSCAD file is parametric and designed to work with the Thingiverse Customizer. If you print this, please upload a picture.
