Deathgun Mask - Eye Diffuser Things
thingiverse
I'll provide a rewritten version of the text. My sincerest apologies for the cluttered 'thing' files that have caused such frustration. In all honesty, I had not envisioned uploading this project and did not meticulously document my final files ^-^; The add-on for ferreusveritas's DeathGun Mask that you're referring to consists of the eye-diffusers I designed, which allow the mask to emit a red glow from its center lenses. This add-on utilizes 5mm red LEDs. To assemble the eye-diffuser assembly: Start with the Main Diffuser. Slide your 5mm LED into the LED holder tube. Feed the leads of your LED through the 5mm LED base and bend them outwards. Route the wires through the holes in the Deathgun Mask - Lens frame piece. Below are the required STL files for construction: - The main part you see, main_diffuser.stl. This contains the diffuser and its supports, with the middle portion left unpainted white and the outside border and supports painted black. - The 5mm LED holder tube, led_holder_tube.stl. This component is designed to fit into the back of the main diffuser and accommodates a 5mm LED perfectly. - The 5mm LED base, 5mm_led_base.stl. This part serves as a housing for the rear of the LED, partially obstructing some light from reaching your eyes. Simply push the two leads through this component and bend them outward. Note that I may have scaled up this piece by about 10% during my final print, although I'm unsure about the exact size. Lastly, you'll need the DeathGun Mask - lens frame piece, stl file deathgun_mask_lens_frame_piece.stl. This assembly serves as a substitute for ferreusveritas's original lens holder and features wire pass-through holes instead of pinching them within the 'sandwich'.
