Deathclaw (loading screen) feet stands
thingiverse
These stands are specifically designed with indents to support the feet of a loading screen deathclaw model (see remix link). They were engineered to hold the deathclaw model printed at 100% with variable infill settings (5-50%), depending on the part's requirements; see print settings for more details. Print Settings: Printer: Wombot Exilis XL Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: Any resolution will work, as fine detail isn't necessary. Infill: Choose an infill setting that suits your needs (I used 25%). Notes: These models are carefully sized to hold the deathclaw model's feet at a precise angle and scale - exactly. You'll want to adjust the scale according to the dimensions of your deathclaw model: I recommend increasing it by about 2-3% for better stability, and if you plan to glue the model to the stand, you can increase even more to allow for a wider range of poses. Design Process: This project was created using 123D Design; I designed the stands first, then "sank" the entire model into each foot-stand, adjusting the deathclaw model's angle to my liking. Next, I used Combine-Subtract actions to carve out the feet-indents, achieving a perfect fit.
