I created this very old design as part of a contest and its textured appearance is a result of that process. However, I eventually decided to refine the model for 3D printing purposes. The model has been hosted on shapeways.com for quite some time now, but it slipped my mind until someone reminded me about it, prompting me to upload it here today. Since I'm short on time, I haven't had a chance to slice the model myself, although an image shows that it can be successfully printed.
