Hello everyone. I'm excited to share with you my design for a Death Star Surface Tile, which I created a few years ago. This tile measures 4.5 inches or 114.3 millimeters square and can be used to build a part of a diorama or serve as a custom base stand for your favorite 1:72 scale Star Wars model. I should mention that this design is actually a modified version of an existing one, which I scaled up and added a stepped perimeter ledge to accommodate my own designs for Tiles 01A, 01B, and 01C. So, while it's not entirely original, I'm proud of how it turned out. One of the great things about this tile is that it can be easily printed using minimal supports on an FDM printer, which means you won't have to worry about complex print settings or a lot of post-processing.
