Death Star Screw Ball The Tap Handle
thingiverse
I couldn't find anyone else who created a Deathstar Tap handle online, so I decided to create my own version. Unfortunately, it wasn't printable at first, so I looked around for a better death star model that I could actually print. That's when I found doguri's tap handle design and stuck it onto mine, which I've been using nonstop since then. Next, I took inspiration from another online creation and painted my Deathstar Tap handle black with a toothpick in front of the spray paint can to protect the surrounding area. To add some extra flair, I also installed an LED light inside. When you see it in person, it looks absolutely stunning! Right now, the LED is simply resting inside, held in place by tape and a watch battery. Maybe later I'll upgrade it with a switch and a dedicated LED holder. Print Settings: Printer: Geeetech i3 M201 Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.3mm Infill: 20% Notes: I printed the Deathstar Tap handle in natural-colored PLA, which is that translucent type of material, and had to use a brim for the bottom piece since it wasn't printing properly.
