Death Star Laser Turret - Destroyed

This is a highly detailed replica of a ruined Death Star laser turret intended to slot perfectly into the pre-existing "Death Star Laser Turret - Simple" found here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1194967.\nThe integrated configuration makes it possible for users to store both operational and non-functional versions in the same volume without compromise. A large portion of internal components were meticulously crafted from scratch by my imagination and do not intend to depict actual movie prop elements. The included STL file has been Cura scaled and expertly oriented for ideal printing results.\nUpdate: The latest STL release includes an updated base insert with enhanced surface texture that adds more visual detail. It can be swapped out with previous models seamlessly.\n Update: I've recently added the popular Halo Mega Blok take on this destroyed base to make it a comprehensive set. Users who have an eye for customization and creative flair are encouraged to try painting and highlighting various areas, adding dynamic details like blast marks and fiery embers.\nPrint Settings:\n Printer Model Used: Rigidbot Big\nRaft Requirements: No rafting required for printing success.\nSupport Needs: No extra support required.\nLayer Resolution: Set resolution at 0.1 mm to ensure accurate model replication.\nFill Density Options: Achieve high-quality prints with an infill rate of 15-20%.\nNotes:\n Printing tips: Be cautious with retraction settings, low retraction values might lead to generation of random 'strings' that could resemble wires or conduit lines, ultimately adding to the post-apocalyptic aesthetic. The outcome may vary based on object orientation and printer settings.\n Recommended shell thickness: Use 0.8 mm thick walls for the most durable results.\nThe entire object should take about one hour to print.\nPost-Printing Guidelines:\n Visual Finishing Touches: Once the print is done, ensure all extraneous strings or unwanted prints from the outer surface are carefully removed in order to enable a proper fit between this damaged base and the original "Simple" model. For better effect, raised details may need a bit of touch-up painting to be visible.
