Death Star Fidget Spinner
thingiverse
This custom fidget spinner combines elements from the Pokeball Fidget Spinner by TheDesignerd (70%), the Death Star design by 3dmax (20%), and my own limited tinkercad modifications (10%). I take little credit for the final product. Similar to the pokeball spinner, this design utilizes M8 nuts as weights. I opted for 5/16" nuts with a small amount of glue. You'll also need to secure the top and bottom Death Star pieces to the body using super glue. Only these two components should be printed with supports. A moderate infill percentage of 10-15% was sufficient for all parts, although I typically set caps at 100%. On June 10th, 2017, I updated this design by adding a slightly longer cap, addressing an issue where the original could rub against the body due to varying bearings and printer settings. Both versions are now available. As this remix is based on designs that explicitly prohibit commercial use, please respect these terms for this custom design as well.
