Death Star Egg Cup - Testing out Meshy web site for generating 3d models for use with Blender displacement. Evaluation: LumaAI is better. Meshy offers more refinement and prompt options than LumaAI. But its going to cost you after your first 15 mintues of messing about. LumaAI offers a daily limit which is more than ample to get 3 or 4 models done in the allotted period of time. LumaAI wins this. + the Output of LumaAI (even with less control) is cleaner and faster. Meshy Models are fragmented and will need to be fixed in blender edit mode (merge by distance (.0001) and fill holes (0). Only then can you subdivide. Meshy Looked promising, but the projected output is a bit deceiving. I did not upscale the uv map with image2image using stable diffusion in this example like I did with the death star goblet. I should make it clear - In all my AI generated drink container experiments I have manually removed (boolean) the drinking cavity (bowl). Generally, the models produced by ai will be flat and filled on top. And the bottoms always would perform like a Weeble Wobble. So they need to be cut.
