One Death Star + Two Star Destroyers = A Unique Holiday Look! I was in desperate need of a show-stopping accessory for Ugly Christmas Sweater Day at work and managed to mash up these models together in Tinkercad. It turned out pretty well, especially considering it only took a few minutes to create. There are two options: one simple with minimal support needed, but requiring two separate prints that you glue together. Print the flat bow tie and the clip separately, using a few supports under the overhangs on the command bridge of the Star Destroyers. Alternatively, print the Full version, which includes the underside of the Star Destroyers and the clip all in one. However, this will require significantly more support material and time to complete, but adds extra volume and visual appeal to the bow tie. UPDATE! Be sure to check out DanielJosvai's clever way to slice the full version, minimizing the need for excessive support material. His print looks fantastic! The clip is an excellent design by ale98lauria, based on their White Bowtie and clips on the top button of your shirt. I'd love to see photos of people rocking this one-of-a-kind holiday look!
