Machinist Creates File 13 Years Ago for CNC Machine with Meshcam Art The file was generated around 13 years ago specifically for a CNC machine using Meshcam art. It converts any JPEG or bitmap image into an elevation map, which is then sliced. Initially designed for use with a .063 diameter ball endmill, the file has been successfully tested on aluminum, although the actual tool cannot be located at present. To optimize print quality, simply adjust the Z-axis setting accordingly.
