This idea was simplified due to its complex mechanics. The model works with three functional keys; however, they don't fall back, giving an appearance of a rusty typewriter. The barrel rotates and holds the paper while slots can accommodate a small strip of carbon paper. In theory, if the paper were rigid enough and high-resolution printer used, letters would print on it. A short video demonstration is available (http://youtu.be/DreCVzvumZE). The pictures and videos are subpar due to late hours, dying camera batteries, and a temporary hold together with transparent tape. Rest assured, the final version will be more polished and tidy. Instructions for printing, assembling, and enjoying this project are provided, along with tips for PP3DP users.
