The Dean-T plug cap is a simple yet effective way to mark LiPo battery status at a glance. By using color-coded caps, you can instantly identify the battery's condition. For instance, a red cap signals a fully charged battery, while a green cap indicates that the battery is in storage. Conversely, no cap means the battery is empty. This design is still a work in progress, and I'm open to feedback on how it can be improved. One challenge I'm facing is accommodating connectors from different manufacturers, as they may have varying dimensions. Fortunately, my initial prototype fits well with one connector, but I'd love to hear your thoughts on how to make it more versatile. Feel free to share any comments or suggestions you may have; I'll do my best to refine the design and make it even more practical for LiPo battery management.
