Mysterious Lead Anchor (C10 15B). Unveiled near the wreckage of HMS Colossus, submerged off the coast of the Isles of Scilly since 1798. Each anchor measures 230x175x60mm and carries a substantial weight of 24.5 kilograms or 54 pounds. Mirroring weights wielded by pioneering divers, the Dean brothers, these anchors are identical in form and mass. The Deans famously salvaged the Colossus wreckage in 1833.
