Deadpool Belt Buckle Seperate Coloured Parts

I'm amazed by Multi Color Deadpool Belt Buckle designed by CarstenD, but unfortunately, I don't have a multi-head printer at my disposal. Noticing that his design almost clicks together, I created two versions that can be printed in separate pieces. To accommodate the metal part, which didn't fit on my print bed as it was originally laid out, I split it into two identical parts. The photo shows one of them removed for a better view of how they fit together. The version I actually printed combines CarstenD's red and black parts with two additional ones: - ez_belt_metal_drop_in.stl However, if you print it this way, the black part will protrude by nearly 2mm more than intended. I've also designed a full replacement, but haven't tested it yet. This version reduces the red/black offset to 1mm: - ez_belt_black.stl - ez_belt_red.stl - ez_belt_metal.stl Lastly, I added a new component that makes the belt functional - it holds a 1.5" nylon or similar ribbon in place. To attach this part, snap it on from below between the outer two metal bars. Feed the ribbon above the outer grey bar, under the black one, around the middle grey bar, back under the black bar and over the outermost bar again. This leaves the tail inside the belt, but it works well. Print this part in black with high infill: - ez_belt_bar.stl For either version, I recommend applying a -0.1mm "XY Size compensation" in your slicer, as the designs have no margin. You could even use -0.2mm or -0.3mm on the red/black parts and save some sanding. Final Notes: This belt buckle interlocks along the x/y plane but has a friction fit on the z-axis. Mine is pretty tight, but you might want to add a little glue. The buckle_*.stl files are CarstenD's original designs, which can be downloaded and tweaked further if needed.
