Multi Color Deadpool Belt Buckle by CarstenD is truly exceptional, yet I lack access to a multi-head printer.\r\nI observed that his design almost seamlessly clicks together, so I created two versions that can be printed in sections. I also divided the metal part as it didn't fit on my print bed as initially laid-out, but it's essentially two identical pieces, so print two of them. The photo shows one removed to demonstrate how it fits together better.\r\n\r\nThe version I actually printed incorporates CarstenD's red and black parts, plus twice:\r\n - ez_belt_metal_drop_in.stl\r\n\r\nIf you do it this way, it appears acceptable but the black part will protrude nearly 2mm more than intended.\r\n\r\nI've also designed a complete replacement with the red/black offset reduced to 1mm, which I haven't tested:\r\n - ez_belt_black.stl\r\n - ez_belt_red.stl\r\n - ez_belt_metal.stl\r\n\r\nLastly, I added a new component that fits in and enables the belt to function properly, holding a 1.5" nylon or similar ribbon in place. Attach the additional part from below, between the outer two metal bars. Feed the ribbon above the outer grey bar, under the black, around the middle grey bar, back under the black and over the outermost bar again. This leaves the tail on the inside of the belt, but it works effectively. Print in black with high infill.\r\n - ez_belt_bar.stl\r\n\r\nFor either version, I recommend a -0.1mm "XY Size compensation" in your slicer, as the designs have zero margin. You could likely even use -0.2mm or -0.3mm on the red/black parts and save yourself some sanding.\r\n\r\nFinal Notes:\r\n - This does interlock along the x/y plane, but on z it's just a friction fit. Mine is quite tight, but you may want to apply a little glue.\r\n - The buckle_*.stl files are CarstenD's original files, which are the input to the SCAD file, in case you wish to download and tweak further.
