Deadlift Jack Feet

Deadlift Jack Feet

A local welder made this deadlift jack. One of the only downsides to this design is the lack of round steel tubing welded to the bottom as seen on most commercial designs. I designed these feet instead to reduce friction and eliminate marring on my platform. The steel tubing used for my jack is 2" x 2" x 16GA (50.8mm x 50.8mm x 1.6mm). The plug portion of the feet is 1.525" (38.75mm) square. The lip hangs out 0.058" (1.475mm). This can be scaled to accommodate for different tube sizes if needed.PLA is plenty strong to bear this sort of load (as pictured holding 585lbs), however, feel free to use stronger materials if it provides some additional peace of mind. I recommend using a cubic infill pattern at 25%+ with three or more walls. Additionally, a smaller layer height will be even stronger. Print Settings:.4 mm nozzle.2 mm layer height25% cubic infill3 walls
