A friend's birthday was celebrated with this amazing gift! Printed in two parts, each enlarged to 300% scale for the marker, and then the bottom of the marker was removed. Next, it was painted and sanded back to allow light to shine through beautifully. A simple USB LED strip was all that was needed to complete the project. The base of the marker has a slot for the IR receiver to be pushed up through, and another groove for the USB cable to exit at the back. To assemble the two pieces together once painted, 30-minute epoxy was used.
