Dead bolt hole plug
thingiverse
I was required to replace my Lockwood/Yale Z-Wave wireless deadbolt (http://crowautomation.com.au/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=67). I did not want a huge hole in the door at this time. This is basically a big nut and bolt that you can customize using Openscad. The nut and the hex key hole go on the inside of your house, as a matter of course. You will need the threads.scad file found here: http://dkprojects.net/openscad-threads/, which should be placed in your openscad library folder. In your slicer, you need to select "split" so that the nut is not suspended in thin air. Print them together or separately as needed.
With this file you will be able to print Dead bolt hole plug with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Dead bolt hole plug.
