A custom-built tool was designed to securely fasten or loosen the Dead Air Mask threaded end cap, which is screwed onto the barrel. This specialized tool will still be necessary to remove the other end, but it enables users to tighten the threaded end so that their can won't detach from the barrel, even when the threaded end remains attached.
