Update 2020-01-18 Added a base with 1.5mm shorter feet for DE1 owners whose drip tray sits slightly lower and scrapes the base. Also added a 67mm stem. --------------- Update 2019-07-03 Added a narrower top plate version so that it can be printed on a smaller bed. --------------- This stand is specifically designed for the Skale scale and the Decent Espresso DE1. It allows you to place the Skale scale under the DE1's drip tray. Print the base, one of the stems, and the top. I recommend using the 63mm stem as a good choice. It clears the drip tray cover while not being too high above it if you don't use the cover. For those who want to use it without the tray cover, the 61mm stem is recommended. The base's feet are designed for a tight fit on the Skale scale. Remove the standard top cover from the Skale scale to reveal the holes for the feet. Place the base on top of the Skale scale and push down on each corner until it fits snugly. If necessary, sand the feet slightly until they fit properly. Test all pieces first by dry-fitting them together. Ensure everything is flush, removing any blobs or strands that prevent a flush fit. Once everything fits perfectly and you've confirmed the stem height, use crazy glue to assemble the pieces. A clamp can be used to hold the pieces in place while the glue dries. Allow it to dry for a full day before using.
