The Comedians is a bronze masterpiece sculpted by Albert Drielsma in 1991, featuring three dynamic performers that bring the scene to life. A renowned Dutch artist, Drielsma was born into a Jewish family in Maastricht and went on to receive the prestigious honor of Knight in the Order of Orange-Nassau in 2007. The statue stands proudly behind the historic theater La Bonbonniere in Maastricht, specifically located at coordinates NB 50° 50'53" - OL 5° 41'31", serving as a tribute to the vibrant world of theater and comedy. This iconic sculpture was designed by Anja Se and Jungi Lee as part of their University College Maastricht school project.
