DDR Raw Thrills Sensor Channel Replacements
thingiverse
**Edit Jan. 2021** I've remade the files and they're working pretty well so far, unless I hear that they're a disaster, I'll stick with this version. I printed them in PETG for my pad and one customer has already ordered some. The images are a bit outdated, so I might change those later too. After seeing Mdigibou's design for the bracket replacements, I decided to remix it and make it fit in my American X2 Raw Thrills cabinet with his permission. For those who know the Raw Thrills X2 cab, I've been on a mission to fully restore/rework mine to work better and also convert it to run Stepmania. The default sensors are quite expensive and don't perform as well as traditional style sensors, so I came up with this solution. I simply spliced in a female plug and got these working to test. I still haven't tested them out fully, but I've made sure they fit and register properly in my cab. Installation is pretty straightforward: remove the original screws and sensor, replace it with the 3D printed part and screw it down hand tight only or it might split. Splice in your connector, hardwire the sensor directly, or replace the new sensor plug with another kind. Place the top piece on top of the sensor and make sure the alignment square fits correctly in the middle.
