DDR Arcade - Spotlight H11 Conversion
thingiverse
I recently acquired a DDR arcade cabinet that featured two non-DDR spotlights with missing bulbs of an unknown type. The manual specified 12v, 20-35w bulbs, and I preferred the warm glow of incandescent bulbs, which led me to design custom brackets for converting to H11 auto bulbs. Two DDR spotlights had burnt-out bulbs, so I decided to upgrade them to H11 bulbs to maintain uniformity. The auto bulbs are designed to reflect light backward. To redirect this effect forward, I employed tin foil in the conversion process. The kit includes two designs of each bracket type: one with a reflective dish and one without. The "L" bracket is intended for the unknown spotlights, while the other is designed for DDR spotlights. I managed to source bulbs at $1 each from my local junkyard. For reference, I've included a link to determine which vehicles utilize these bulbs: http://websites.retailcatalog.us/1424/mm/master-bulb-guide.pdf Keep on dancing as long as the lights keep flashing! - Icky Blossoms (Heat Lightning)
