I built my first 3D Printed Acrobatic Quadcopter, which can lift three times its own weight! Watch the Payload Test on https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LvHyeQbz5lg and the Outdoor Test Flight on https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aF6UAAzIkts. My setup includes: Four Turnigy 2839/9 950 kV motors, four 30A Afro Esc with SimonK firmware, four 1045 Props, one KK2.1.5 Flight Control Board with Stevis 1.19S1 Pro Firmware, one Turnigy nano-tech 5,000mAh 35-70C Discharge 3Cell 11.1V Li-Po Battery, and a Power Distribution Board to connect ESCs, Battery, and Flight Control Board. To be safe and have fun, use these instructions: Use 60% infill on everything with two or three perimeters using ABS or PLA material. Print two top plates, four hollow arms, and four landing gear components. Assemble the parts with #8/32 x 1.5" Socket Head Bolts and #8/32 nuts. Secure motors with (16) #4-40 x 0.5" Socket Head Bolts and #4-40 Nuts. The KK2 Board and Power Distribution Board need #4-40 x 0.25 Male/Female Standoffs along with associated screws and nuts. Electrical Zip Ties hold everything in place for easy repair and replacement if necessary, so don't crash too much!
